On April 16, our Bishop formally responded to the petition submitted by a large number of parishioners, requesting that the decree of suppression of the Parish be revoked, confirming the decision that St. Joseph Parish of Kitchener be suppressed as established, effective June 25, 2025.
A group of parishioners recently sent a petition to the Holy See against the decree suppressing the Parish.

Pope Francis died on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta. We will pray for his eternal rest this Sunday the 27th at the 11 am Mass.

All St Joseph parishioners are invited to a Town Hall meeting on Thursday February 6th, 2025, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the Church Hall.
This meeting is the next step in the "Preparing Parishes For Success" process begun by the Diocese last year. His Excellency Bishop Wayne Lobsinger and Monsignor Murray Kroetsch will both be in attendance.
